Soko truly understood the emotional rollercoaster I’d been on trying to lose weight — how you get so motivated at first and want to do everything at once. She taught me that more isn’t always better, especially at my age and in menopause. Not eating enough of the right calories, trying to starve myself  and the long workouts in the gym was actually working against me.

By the time I lost the weight, I had already new habits and routines in place that maintaining my weight was easy. What stuck with me most is the education — I know how to eat and move in a way that feels realistic, and I’ve been able to keep the weight off without feeling overwhelmed.
